For all those interested in serving as a Cabin Leader, Training for the 2010 Summer Camping Season will be held on April 23 and 24th at Cathedral Pines. Please note: your attendance at a training session is a necessary requirement for ministry as a cabin leader.

Cathedral Pines is celebrating 90 years in ministry in 2009. We will be having an open house on July 4th starting at 10 AM with music, camp history and a barbecue at 4 PM. Please email Dave Wilcox or call 208-726-5007 if you will be attending so that we know how much food to prepare. Also let us know if you need lodging or an RV space. Bring ready to eat foods as open flame fires are not allowed in the forest (no gas or charcoal grills) and no fireworks. Cathedral Pines is a scenic, semi-rustic camp located in the Sawtooth mountains of central Idaho, 14 miles outside the Ketchum/Sun Valley area. Open year-round, we specialize in youth camping; serving church camps, schools, special needs camps, and theater groups. We also supply a beautiful venue for other gatherings, such as reunions, conferences and business training, as well.
We have heated accommodations for groups from 30 to 150 people, and provide dining and conference facilities as well. The sawtooth grill provides seating for up to 200 diners, and our chapel provides similar seating capabilities, as well as a view of Boulder Mountain. Members of our staff are friendly, and strive to accommodate any special requests or needs our guests have.
A variety of wildlife can be seen in and around camp. Several doe mule deer and their fawns wander through camp throughout the summer, and you can see foxes, and even the occasional elk or black bear may pay a visit.
